Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Christmas Eve at 6 p.m.
(Preservice Music begins at 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve)
The word Advent means coming, and during the four Sundays of Advent we prepare ourselves anew for the celebration of the coming of Jesus as the Savior of the world! On each Sunday of Advent, we light another candle in the Advent wreath that represents a theme of the Christmas season, and on Christmas Eve we light the Christ Candle in the center of the wreath. We invite you to join us during this wonderfully significant spiritual season of the year as we remember why God sent his Son and celebrate his great love for each one of us.
This year, our messages will concentrate on some of the characters of or surrounding Christmas: John the Baptist (the cousin of Jesus born a few months before him), Joseph, Mary, and the shepherds. Woven throughout each of these messages, of course, is the main character of Christmas, Jesus himself! Don't miss a single opportunity for worship this Advent season. We also feature our choir's Christmas Cantata presentation on December 9, "Let There Be Christmas."
