Today's message was part of a unique worship time entitled, "Speechless." The order of worship proceeded without any speaking. The congregation meditated on the words of the songs and hymns, and the overall theme of the service was a meditation on our own speech. To create a sermon without speaking, our pastor recorded a short (about 10.5 minute) meditation of his own thoughts while considering the writing of the message. He sat at a desk with his Bible, computer, and notepad, and the congregation "listened" to his "thoughts" as he considered what God's word says about our words.
